So, first thing's first: what is Etizolam? It is one of the lesser-known medications belonging to the benzodiazepine family. Benzodiazepines were first discovered by Leo Sternbach in the 50s and approved for use in the 60s. This medication is also called street Valium in many countries and is said to be 10 times stronger than diazepam.

They were initially manufactured by the pharmaceutical company Hoffman-La Roche and since their initial distribution, many variations have become widely available across the globe. Etizolam was first approved for use in 1983 for the treatment of anxiety and insomnia primarily, which we will explain in more detail shortly. It has been approved for use by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and is available with a prescription via the National Health Service (NHS). It is a generally a class C controlled substance, and since this year, the export of the drug from certain countries has been banned. Despite this, we have made it possible to buy Etizolam online without the need for a prescription if you are struggling to get one from your GP. We are a domestic Etizolam vendor, which means our pharmacy is nationally based, so you can get your anxiety medication without having to go into a brick-and-mortar chemist and still get it quickly.
So, what is Etizolam used for? As we mentioned before, it is primarily used to treat anxiety disorders and insomnia. Anxiety disorders include generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), social anxiety, and panic disorder. You may have an anxiety disorder if you experience any of the following symptoms:
This is not an exhaustive list, and some people will experience some symptoms and not others - everybody is different. Anxiety disorders are not the same as being worried or stressed about an important event for example, and rather they are characterised by the negative impact it has on your everyday ability to function.
Etizolam is also used for the treatment of insomnia, usually when other medications, such as over the counter medications or antihistamines haven't worked. There are three main types of insomnia which are sleep-onset, sleep-maintenance, and transient insomnia. They can be acute or chronic, with acute lasting three months or less and chronic lasting for more than three months. To be characterised as a sleep disorder, insomnia will affect you for at least three days per week. Sleep on-set insomnia is defined as trouble getting to sleep, while sleep-maintenance means you will wake up in the night and not be able to get back to sleep, or wake up too early. Transient insomnia is sleeping problems due to jetlag or shift work for example. Insomnia can be caused by stress, mental health conditions such as depression, environment (such as too much noise or a room that is too hot or too cold), or excess nicotine or caffeine. Sleep-maintenance insomnia is the most difficult type to treat, but thankfully, it is the least common. You may be suffering from insomnia if you are experiencing the following symptoms:

Etizolam is a thienotriazolodiazepine which means it is a benzodiazepine analogue. It has the same principal mechanism of action as other benzodiazepines such as Xanax or Valium. The medication targets the central nervous system and is an agonist for gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors in the brain. The central nervous system is comprised of the brain and the spinal cord and the neurons, also called nerve cells, connect the central nervous system to the peripheral nervous system throughout the rest of the body. Neurons transmit information using electrical activity and they are regulated by chemicals called neurotransmitters, which can either be excitatory or inhibitory. Neurons have a cell body which has a long process extending from it called an axon where the electrical signals travel down the axon where they connect with other neurons, separated by a microscopic gap called a synapse. The synapse is where GABA receptors are situated, and they are the most abundant inhibitory receptors in the brain. GABA receptors are formed of 5 subunits with each subunit having 2 binding sites. The active chemical in Etizolam binds to the receptors and when this happens it causes the receptors to produce and secrete the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA. GABA has hypnotic and anxiolytic properties which means it subdues certain signals in the brain which leads to relaxation and sedation. As well as helping you fall asleep it also helps you to stay asleep throughout the night.
Etizolam is absorbed rapidly by the gastrointestinal (GI) tract and has an extremely high bioavailability of over 90%. This means that less than 10% is lost through first pass metabolism when the active ingredients travel from the GI tract to the brain. The Etizolam onset time will vary from person to person depending on factors such as your metabolism and your body mass index (BMI). It starts to work fairly rapidly and reaches peak plasma concentration after 1 hour on average. The medication has an elimination half-life time of 3 and a half hours on average, and its metabolites have an elimination half-life of over 8 hours. This means it has a good duration of action and it is particularly useful for generalised anxiety and sleep-maintenance insomnia.
The exact dosage will vary from person to person and will depend on certain factors including whether your insomnia is acute or chronic, and the severity of your disorder. Etizolam 0.25 mg is the usual starting dose, particularly if you are taking it for a chronic condition. It is best to start on the lowest possible dose as this type of medication causes increased tolerance so you will either not benefit to the same extent as time goes on or you will need to increase your dose for the medication to be effective. Etizolam comes in tablet form in doses ranging from 0.25 mg up to 2 mg. If you are taking it for insomnia, then you should take it about an hour before you want to go to sleep. It should be swallowed whole with a glass of water, and you should make sure you do not crush or chew the tablets as this will cause the medication to enter your system too quickly which could be dangerous. If you are taking it for anxiety, you should take your dose when you feel the onset of your symptoms, for example if you experience a panic attack. If you are taking it for chronic anxiety, you should take your first dose when you wake up and re-dose as necessary throughout the day. If you are re-dosing, then you should ensure you space the doses evenly throughout the day to prevent too much building up in your system. Etizolam should ideally be used as a short-term treatment option as it has habit forming properties and causes increased tolerance. You should also take it for 3 days or less per week, spacing the days out evenly throughout the week to reduce the risk of physical dependence.
Before you buy Etizolam online it is important to be aware of any potential side effects. Most people do not experience any and they are usually mild and resolve on their own for those that do. Some of the more common Etizolam side effects include the following:

We often get asked "is Etizolam addictive?" It does have habit forming properties and is considered to have moderate potential for addiction. This is why it is important to be careful when you are taking it and use it for the shortest amount of time possible. Here are some tips on how to stop taking Etizolam if you have been taking it for longer than the recommended amount of time. To avoid or reduce unpleasant withdrawal effects, you should gradually reduce your dose, by taking a lower strength for a few days and repeating this process until you have come off it completely.
Etizolam and Xanax have similar properties as well as mechanism of action, however the former is much more potent so you will need to take a much lower dose to achieve the same results. It also has a longer duration of action than many other benzodiazepines, including Valium. Etizolam is a lesser-known medication, but that doesn't mean it is worse by any means. In fact as it is the more potent of the two, it could be considered better as it is more effective. All medications have to adhere to strict safety protocols and have been developed over many years of rigorous clinical trials.
